Keeping with The Singers in Law theme, Barbara is a reformed (i.e. retired) Court Reporter. She specialized in medical malpractice and other technical cases.
From a musical standpoint, Barbara is truly a triple threat. She has both training and extensive experience in music, dance, and theatre. She has had starring roles in such musicals as “The Merry Widow” at the San Fernando Valley Theatre; “Iolanthe” and “The Mikado” at the Morgan Wixson Theater; “Tintypes” with the Brea Civic Light Opera; “The Littlest Angel” at the Odyssey Theater and “No, No Nanette” with the La Mirada Civic Light Opera. She was the featured soloist and soprano section leader at Temple Beth Am and Kehillat Israel. And, she danced with the Beverly Hills Jazz Dancers and The Finjan Israeli Dance Company which performed locally for numerous charitable events as well as in Las Vegas with 12 other dance troupes. Although her vocal and piano training focused on classical music, she has a passion for jazz. Being able to perform both is a rare and unique talent for any singer.
